THE LAMB'S SEAL - REVELATION 7:2,3

     It is not hard to see the conflict between the Beast and the Lamb as you read Revelation 13 and 14.  The Lamb has a seal the the Beast has a mark.  God's people follow the Lamb and the rest of the world "wondered and followed the Beast."  The book of Revelation is a book of contrasts.  You cannot understand the Beast and his Mark until you first understand the Lamb and His Seal.

I.  Victory comes by the blood of the Lamb.  Revelation 12:10,11

II.  Identity of the Lamb
      A) He takes away sin.  John 1:29
      B) His name is Jesus.  Matthew 1:21,23
      C) He rules heaven and earth as Creator.  Colossians 1:16,17
      D) He is identified with His people.  Revelation 14:1
      E) He is identified by His seal in His people.  Revelation 7:2,3

III. The Lamb's Seal , His name, title, and area of rule.  Exodus 20:11
      A) Name -Yahweh covenental name in salvation
      B) Title - "who made) Creator
      C) Area of rule - "the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them."

IV. The Lamb's seal reveals Him as Redeemer - Deuteronomy 5:15; Ezekiel 20:12,20
      A) As Redeemer He has another name - Jeremiah 23:5,6  "The Lord Our Righteousness"
      B) The seal is based on a finished work -Creation completed on the 6th day and God rested.  Redemption accomplished on the 6th day and Christ rested.  Come and Abide.  Rest and then work.  Die in Christ, then rise to new life.
      C) To be sealed is to be justified for eternity with the evidence of a Spirit-led life of obedience.  Romans 8:1,2;
2 Corinthians 5:15
