9) Thanks to Calvary
     We come to the final message in the series, "Who Are You When No One Is Looking?"  Christian character is a necessity for the times in which we live, but even more critical if we are ever to have an impact in our witness on the world around us.  This kind of character comes as a result of a heart that has been captured by the love of God.  Our actions, our words, and our behavior are all dictated by the constraining power of Christ's love.

I.  A different direction - 1 John 4:10; 2 Corinthians 5:15; Romans 5:5; 1 Peter:11,12;
1 Peter 3:13-17; Thanks to Calvary lyrics:
"Thanks to Calvary I am not the man I used to be.  Thanks to Calvary things are different than before.  While the tears ran down my face, I tried to tell them, Thanks to Calvary I don't come here anymore."

II.  A different character - the devil attracts with the philosophy of "if it feels good, do it."
Ephesians 6:10-13; Steps to Christ p. 57,58: "The character is revealed not by occasional good deeds and occasional misdeeds, but by the tendency of the habitual words and acts."  Education p. 57
               Who has the heart?

III. A different hope - Hebrews 6:17-20 We have this hope whether we live or die.  I Thessalonians 5:9,10;
1 Corinthians 15:19

IV. A different people - people who possess a loyalty to God's commandments in the face of intense opposition.  Revelation 12:17
               A great multitude - Revelation 7:9,13,14
