Southern-style Greens
  1. Wash greens well and remove tough stems. Stack leaves and shred into 1/2-inch strips.
  2. Place onion, garlic and water in a large fry pan, kettle or wok. Steam 2-3 minutes until onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add greens and seasonings to pan and toss with onions. Continue to steam over medium heat until greens are tender (25-45 minutes), stirring occasionally to blend flavors.

Serves 6
