Low Fat “Taste Great” Macaroni

 

  • 2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. roasted red peppers or pimentos
  • 1/4 c. white whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. raw cashews
  • 1/4 c. Yeast Flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 3/4 tsp. salt

 

  1. Blend all above ingredients.
  2. Pour 4 coups cooked macaroni into baking dish and pour blender ingredients over the macaroni.
  3. May stir in some frozen peas.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
  5. Bake 375 degrees until bubbles, about 30-45 min.
