Maple Glaze
  • 1/2 c. pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. Agar Agar Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. butter-flavored salt (or plain)
  • 1/4 c. soy milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  1. Place all ingredients (except walnuts) in a saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Set aside at room temperature until semi-set (about 10 minutes).
  4. Spread glaze on cake and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
