  • Great Northern Breakfast Beans
  • 3 c. dried white beans
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. soy or nut milk
  • 1 tbsp. whole wheat flour
  1. Rinse beans under tap water.
  2. Place all ingredients, except soy milk and flour, in a crock pot set on high.
  3. Cook overnight. In the morning, mix soy milk and flour and stir in.
  4. Continue stirring until thickened. Pour over toast.
