Pita Bread Chips
  • 6 small whole wheat pita bread pockets
  • 1/2 c. salted water
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin (opt.)
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika (opt.)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (opt.
  1. Separate top and bottom layers of pita bread and cut into pie-shaped wedges or cracker-sized pieces.
  2. Set aside cumin, paprika, and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Place pitas on cookie sheet and spray with salted water. Sprinkle evenly with seasoning mixture.
  4. Bake at 250 degrees for about 10 minutes or until dry and crisp.
